Law Of Diminshing Marginal Utility
The law of diminshing marginal utilty states that as the quantity consumed of a commodity increases per unit of time, the utility derived by the consumer from the successive units goes on decreasing provided the consumption of all other goods remains contants.
For Example, Imagine, you are hungry and you purchase a sandwich to eat, the satisfication which you derive from the first piece of sandwich would be th maximun because intensity of your hunger was the highest. When you eat the second piece, you derive a low satisfaction becouse intensity of your hungry isreduced, due to comsunption of one piece of sandwiches, the intensity of your hunger goes on decresaing and therefore the satisfaction which you drevied from the successive units goes on decreasing . This type of phennomenon is known as Law of diminishing marginal unity
