Offer, Discount-Customer Behavior

People respond to incentives is something which is actually true when it is taken according to customers point of view. In this producers will be giving discounts, offers on the products that customers are looking for and in some cases it even changes the behavior of the customers.These incentives attracts the people who are not willing to buy also.
 Example: Last month I did my live project on Marico where I have to sell 5 lit of saffola gold oil which is on offer with 1 lit of oil and 5kg of sugar. People responded to the incentive that they are getting along with 5lit where they are saving Rs.250/- on both. Even people who are not willing to buy also started buying the products.
